Last weekend the Union Hall hosted the annual "Santa Day" and we got a little picture of the kids with Santa, then stood in line for some presents. Jonathan was very excited to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, in fact he brought him a picture of what he wants so Santa would not get confused with all the other toys. (second photo - Jonathan has his star wars comic book to show him the set of good guys he wants). This might just be my favorite thing the hall does every year. It is so much fun for the kids and I get to put faces with names of all the guys Matt works with. However, This year between school and friends it is a little harder to de-program him for the true meaning of Christmas....but I think we got it now!
Jesus is the reason for the season! He was sent to Earth to be born of a virgin, to die for our sins, so that we may be forgiven!
