Last week

Just a little post of some super cute photos and a couple things we have done last week.

Griffin and Jonathan tested for the next belt last week. Jonathan earned his Yellow belt and Griffin earned his Orange belt! This is BIG for Griffin since he had just started a couple months ago in the 4 to 7 year old class (he is only 3, not 4 until Sept) His Instructor said he could sure give it a try, and was very impressed with what he accomplished. It boosted his confidence and he was talking and doing really good! (video coming soon)

Although we had to take a little break from Karate because it is SUPER expensive. I did find a different kind of Karate at the Community Church and we signed up for that last week. so hopefully it will be just as constructive and 1/3 the price. It is just a different program and they "kinda" have to start over. They keep their rank but it is different as far as the color of belts and rank order. A little review never hurt anyone, right? It will help both boys stay active through the summer and help them keep some of the things they learned fresh. I am so proud of both of them for all the hard work and hope to continue to keep them in Karate. I think we finally found our sport!

In other news! Halsey has enough hair for PIGGY TAILS!!! I know i might be a little too excited but it is just so cute! better pictures coming soon. It has taken some practice to figure out how to get them in quick and in one try before she wiggles.
