our adventures this week!

Whew this was a busy week! We finally have had some warm weather so we had a picnic, went to Deanna Rose Farmstead and play outside every chance we get!
Where to start...we had fun on Monday at Deanna Rose farmstead it was a playgroup and I went and picked up Cody for the day since Jonathan and Cody play so well together I knew they would have so much fun and I was right they played for hours running and chasing 'bad guys'. I thought I was asking for it taking 4 kids to a farm but they all did great and had so much fun.
This week brings many milestones for all 3.
All of a sudden Griffin never stops talking and I can understand what he is talking about IN SENTENCES!
We enrolled my baby in Kindergarten for the fall and I am considering some summer school to get him ready for all day and everyday school. I was just getting used to the thought of starting school in the fall when they spring summer school on me. I think I must have looked at her like she was nuts because she stopped talking and just handed me the packet of info. Once I thought about it and read that it is free I went to ask more questions. It is only 5 week long course, everyday and I can send him however many days I want to. So I think I have decided to enroll him in summer school and see how many times I can get him there as a little practice for me too. I think it will be good he can learn the ropes of going to school before ALL the kids are there in the fall. AHHHHH!!! sorry freakin out a little..
Jonathan ate PIZZA and so did Griffin (enough said, right)
Our TV in the living room got struck by lightning on the big thunderstorm on Tuesday morning. now we have really annoying and distracting rainbow through the screen. I think we have that figured out too Mom and Dad are going to loan is a TV they don't use so it will be all good as soon as we can get over there to pick it up. At least I thought to get up and unplug the computer or I would be shopping today and in trouble when Matt got home
Last but not least Halsey is cooing and smiling and even starting to laugh a little. I will have a little video for you soon I can't get it in this post it says there is too much going on so I will get it on here this week sometime. Jonathan loves to play patty cake with baby sister and Griffin pretty much can't keep his hands off her.
Oh and a special question for all you teachers out there...How do I make my Kindergartener Write? He hates it! I think it is because he holds his pencil wrong I know he CAN I have seen him write all the letters but it was torture. I am going to go get him a couple of those gripper things but his teacher says he needs to really work on it for the summer because he will be doing a lot of writing come school time. Every other test they gave him he did better than most at, he just did not want to write for her and he never has really liked to write or color for me either.
*Note: I love the comments so don't let the new security thing stop you from making them. I have just been getting some 'comment spam' so I need to make it a little more secure so it will stop.

Love the first pic of the two of them! Looks like you had a blast on the farm! Sounds like you are just gonna have to really work with him on the whole writing thing if he wasn't much into coloring and such earlier, the grippers sound good though!
