I am really trying to decide after much time sitting here remembering all the good times of baby raising and how I have missed out on keeping record of all the goings on of the last 3 years. If maybe. Just maybe I should get back to it? Should I do it just for me and memory keeping and not worry that only 10 people actually look at it and care? I guess I can just try. I thought there for a couple years in day and age of facebook and mobile uploads that it would replace the blog but I also catch myself not posting stuff to facebook because I don't think anyone really cares. (please excuse my seriously bruised self esteem.) So let me just see if I can make this stick.
This picture is actually from the summer of 2011. I love this picture. My baby sister girl will be 5 next week and I am having trouble dealing because all the while I feel as though I have never not had a daughter I also feel like I have missed something, because she was a tiny little baby just yesterday! THIS is the year I send her to kindergarten and if you remember from the 2 kids I have sent to kindergarten before her I have a really hard time with this!!

Halsey is 18 months old!
I can not believe how quickly Halsey is growing! Everyday she does something that amazes me. She loves to give hugs and kisses. She loves to feed her baby and share her "sassy" (passy) with her baby. They take turns drinking juice and sharing the passy. She also likes to hug and kiss the baby, but doesn't have the mommy thing completely down because she carries her baby by the leg upside down.
She has a huge list of words, my favorites are; more, done, eat, hello, sit, meeeeow, luv you, thank you, whoa, doppa-doppa (diaper) sassy (passy) pretty, baby. She is starting to put 2 words together. There are my more words but I think they are listed on other posts she has been very vocal for a while now and repeats EVERYTHING we say.
She is tipping the scales these days at a whopping 19 lbs and 28 inches. With 12 teeth she loves to eat and has to taste every ones food. We were at Applebees the other day and when the waitress put her plate in front of her Halsey said "thank you". When she was finished with dinner the waitress came back over and Halsey lifted her plate to hand it to her and announced "done!".
Walking, running and climbing, and scaring the crap out of me are among her favorite things to do. She loves to be outside and we spend hours walking back and forth on the sidewalk.
I can't believe how big my baby is getting and am truly amazed at her beauty, love for her daddy, grandma, brothers and animals. She could care less about anything on TV and thank goodness does not ask to play PlayStation yet. She loves music and seems partial to Evanescence and the Twilight soundtrack.

11 months old
Halsey was 11 months on the 18th and I am still somewhat in denial that in 1 month my BABY will be an entire year old! It doesn't seem possible. It also means I am another year older and I am really not afraid of birthday's but...this one is a little sneaky. I was so busy thinking about Halsey's birthday I kinda forgot mine was first. Yikes!
Halsey has been perfecting her crawl, pulling up on stuff, TALKING! If you ask her a question she nods her head yes, amazing to me! She eats ANYTHING I give her, in fact, now when we eat at a restaurant she gets her own kids meal! OINK!! Today she scared the crap out of me, she was buckled in her high chair and I turned around to get her plate and Jonathan said "MOM! she is standing up!" I turned around and she was standing in her seat unbuckled reaching for legos. another YIKES!
Words she says: da-da, ma-ma, cat, yeah, done, and if you ask her if she wants to eat she says "t" (the sound a "t" makes). oh and she SPITS! yay, right?! (see video) and she is giving hugs, and kisses too :) Finally got her first tooth! tooth number one made a break through on January 11th. so no baby dentures in our future ;)
